Meet The Effingham Health System Senior Leadership Team.
Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Morgan has been the CEO of Effingham Health System since 2005. Her experience consists of over 36 years in the hospital and long term care industries. Ms. Morgan is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators, a licensed Georgia Nursing Home Administrator and a Certified Nursing Home Administrator. Currently, she serves on the Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators, the Georgia Hospital Workman’s Compensation Board and the Georgia Health Care Association Board. Previously, Ms. Morgan has served on the boards of numerous professional and civic organizations. She attended Georgia Southern College.
Victoria Little, PHR
Director Of Human Resources And Executive Director Of Support Services
Ms. Little has been the Director of Human Resources at Effingham Health System since 1994. She has over 30 years of administrative and supervisory experience in the healthcare field. Ms. Little is certified as a Professional in Human Resources.
Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Mims joined Effingham Health System in April of 2011. Prior to joining Effingham Health System, Mrs. Mims was an active Respiratory Care Professional with many years of clinical experience. She has held several administrative positions in healthcare including Director of Occupational Medical Services, Vice President of CareOne and Managed Care, Senior Vice President of Hospital Operations and Vice President of Ancillary Services with Memorial Health in Savannah.
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Ms. Pizzino has been with Effingham Health System for five years and working in the field of information management for 12 years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management and prior to coming to Effingham Health System, she worked in the long term care industry. She was integral in implementing the Electronic Medical Records program for the Effingham Health System physician’s office.
Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Betsy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University in 1997. After graduation, she worked at Memorial University Medical Center as a Senior Staff Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit. Looking to expand her career, she joined Richard J. Greco, MD at The Georgia Institute for Plastic Surgery. After working for Dr. Greco for eight years, Betsy united with Effingham Hospital in 2008. Betsy has served in several capacities while at Effingham Health System, most recently as the Physician Liaison.
