A room full of pink and a community showing up for an important cause.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our biggest Breast Cancer Awareness Lunch & Learn ever! It was a meaningful afternoon focused on education, awareness, and support for those impacted by breast cancer.
We’re incredibly grateful to our speakers, team members, and everyone who helped make the event possible, especially those who joined us in wearing pink hats and standing together in support of breast cancer awareness.
Celebrating Our Community of Survivors
At the heart of this gathering is our community of breast cancer survivors, whose experiences give this event its meaning. We celebrate them, stand beside those currently receiving treatment, and honor the loved ones we have lost to breast cancer.
This event is dedicated to them and to the families, friends, and caregivers whose support makes a difference. Coming together gives us an opportunity to share encouragement, strengthen connections, and remind those affected by breast cancer that they are not alone.
Make Breast Cancer Awareness a Reason to Schedule Your Mammogram
The importance of breast health extends beyond Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Mammograms do not prevent breast cancer, but they can help detect it early, before a lump can be felt or other symptoms appear, when treatment may be easier. Regular screening can also reduce the risk of dying from breast cancer. CDC
According to the American Cancer Society, the five-year relative survival rate for women diagnosed with localized invasive breast cancer is more than 99%. Localized means the cancer has not spread outside the breast. This population-based statistic compares survival with the general population and does not predict an individual’s outcome. Make time to talk with your healthcare provider about the breast cancer screening schedule that is right for your age and personal risk. CDC
