Is Your Child Struggling to Cope?

Effingham Behavioral Health Center, in collaboration with Effingham County School District, is providing a new initiative designed to improve access to mental health services for your child.

The Pilot Program launched in December 2025 in Guyton Elementary, Ebenezer Middle School, and Effingham County High School. The program will be available in all schools beginning in August 2026.

Our care team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, and counselors who work together to support students’ emotional, behavioral, and mental well-being. Some of the conditions our behavioral health team can help manage include, but are not limited to:

• Anxiety and stress
• Behavioral or attention difficulties
• Adjustment challenges related to family or school changes
• Depression and mood concerns
• Coping skills and emotional
