Real strength starts with showing up for your health.
Effingham Health System was proud to host our 2nd Man to Man: Men’s Health Breakfast, bringing men in our community together for good food, honest conversation, and important health education.
Rev. Chance S. Ward opened the morning with a powerful message about spiritual health and what it means to be “men who show up,” beginning with taking care of ourselves first.
Our speakers, including Chief Medical Officer Dr. Alexander Wynn, FACS and Chief of Occupational Medicine Dr. John Bennett, shared insight on the importance of regular screenings, preventive care, and asking questions early. By staying proactive, men can improve their chances of preventing health issues or catching them when they are most treatable.
A special thank you to EHS Foundation Executive Director Scott Russell and Antoine Poythress, COO and CFO, who helped bring this event together and spoke to the importance of men’s health in our community.
Attendees also received giveaways throughout the morning, including one lucky guest who walked away with a 30” digital electric smoker.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. Effingham Health System is proud to continue creating opportunities for our community to learn, connect, and take meaningful steps toward better health.
