Employees Continue Leading the Change at Effingham Health System

In a ceremony underscoring the importance of people in the transformation of Effingham Health System (EHS), over 4 dozen employees were recognized at the Annual Service Awards at the Mighty Eighth Airforce Museum.

Erin Hardage, Pharmacy Technician, was honored as Employee of the Year while Nicole Washington, RN, BSN, MHA, Director of Quality and Risk Management and Hillary Evans, RN, WCC, Infection Preventionist received Outstanding Leadership awards.

Melanie Hubbard RCP, RRT, Respiratory Technician and Donyetta Tolbert, Environmental Services Supervisor both received Outstanding Performance Awards. This year’s Outstanding Patient Experience awards went to, Timothy Brantley, RN, Director of Perioperative Services, Shannon Clark, LPN, Practice Manager and Andrea Jones BSN, RN, SANE, Director of Nursing.

“Our patients matter. And for that reason, our people matter,’ explains Fran Baker- Witt, CEO of Effingham Health System. ‘it is their hard work, leadership, and passion that assure we deliver the best possible patient experience and health outcomes.”

Among those recognized for extended service with Effingham Health System, was Dwayne Fort, C.N.A, Restorative Aide was recognized for 40 years with EHS.
