THE NEED

A cancer diagnosis is difficult enough, but traveling for hours to receive treatment can pose a seemingly insurmountable challenge for patients and their families. The Effingham Cancer Care Center, which opened in 2017, is already outgrowing its current location.

THE VISION

As demand for cancer care closer to home continues to increase, and the future of cancer care evolves, Effingham Cancer Care Center will respond. We see the opportunity not only to meet the demand for increased outpatient visits and infusions but to provide a broad range of healthcare and support services. These services can help improve the journey for our oncology and hematology patients—and their families.
